Sound familiar?

You've built something real.
But it only works when you're in the room.

Your skill works. The money comes in. It just only comes in when you show up.

Your column is full

Your prices are as high as the area will take and the only way to earn more is to work another day. You've already done that maths.

You already teach, you just don't charge for it

Apprentices ask you things. Other barbers message you. You've walked people through it for free more times than you could count.

You've thought about a second shop

Then you've done the sums on rent, staff and the aggravation, and worked out it's the same job twice.

You can't step away from it

Two weeks off costs you two weeks' money. The business doesn't really exist without you stood in it.

This is for you if

  • You're five to ten years in and the money is decent, but all of it comes out of your own hands.
  • Barbers already message you asking how you do things.
  • You want something you own that still earns when you're not at the chair.

This isn't for you if

  • You're still building your column and the money isn't steady yet.
  • You want to hand it over and have somebody else do it for you.
  • You're after a quick bit of extra cash rather than something you keep.
What you already know could be a ten to fifteen thousand pound a month online business

None of that is a problem with your business. It's a problem with how it makes money.

Fifteen years in the trade

Fifteen years behind the chair, and a name in the fashion world with it. GQ, Hair Expo India, the sort of rooms most barbers never get near.

What he didn't have was a way to sell any of it online. All that knowledge, all those connections, and it only ever paid when he was stood in front of someone.

Four years, two businesses

Sharp businessman. In four years he opened two shops and made both of them work, which most people never manage once.

He knows how to run a floor properly. The trouble was that knowledge sat inside his own two shops and nowhere else.

/ˈbɑːbəprəˈnɜː/ · noun

A barber who still loves to cut hair and the life that comes with it, but runs it with the head of a business owner. Builds a business that fuels a life they want instead of a life built around the business, so you can cut hair because you want to, not because you have to.

What it looks like from the inside.

Clients and other barbers stop seeing a barber and start seeing someone who runs a business. That on its own is why you can charge more.

Fully booked isn't the top, it's the ceiling. A second shop is the same job, twice. Putting your prices up feels good for about a fortnight. The way out was never more hours. It's the ten years already sat in your head, never sold once. You keep the craft. You keep the chair. You just stop needing it.

Because you want to.

Not because you have to.

A note on results

Every story and message on this page comes from a real client, but these results are not typical and they are not a promise of what you will do. What you get out of this depends on your skill, your effort, and plenty of things none of us control.

SCALO is education and coaching. I show founders how to package their knowledge and build the systems behind it. I do not sell a get rich quick scheme, I do not guarantee income, and I cannot do the work for you.

What you actually get

Built to fit round a full column. I built mine in the gaps while I was still cutting Tuesday to Saturday.

My mission: barbers who cut because they want to, not because they have to

SCALO started in January 2025, on a trip to Thailand with my mates.

I'd been cutting for ten years by then. Good column, decent money, business I was proud of. And sat out there I worked out that the money only existed if I was stood behind the chair.

So I built something else out of what I already knew. I still cut, about eight days a month, twelve if I want them. I just don't have to. I like it more now than I did when it was the only way I earned.

Ten years behind the chair.

I'm not here to talk anyone out of barbering. I still do it.

What I want is for you to have the option. Because the minute cutting is the only way you can earn, you start resenting it. That's what ruins a trade you were once excited about.

A barber should be able to:

  • Cut because he wants to, not because he has to
  • Earn from what he knows, not just what he does
  • Charge more for the chair time he does keep
  • Be seen as someone who runs a business, not just someone who's handy with clippers

I built mine out of what was already in my head. Ten years of it, sat there, never sold.

You've got the same thing. You've just never packaged it.

What I care about

The life comes first

We build the business around what you want your week to look like. Not the other way round.

Do it properly

No templates, no copy and paste. If it's not good enough to put your name on, it doesn't go out.

Real mates, not clients

I take a handful of people at a time. Most of them I'm still speaking to long after the 120 days are up.

Build it once

Everything we build should keep working whether you're there or not. That's the entire point of it.

FAQ

The questions founders ask.

Does this work for my industry?
Yes. SCALO is built for service based founders across industries, not one niche. Packaging your knowledge into an online offer and building the engine behind it works the same wherever your skill sits.
I already run a business, where is the time?
The whole programme installs around a full schedule. A few focused hours a week is enough. Your portal and the pre built frameworks mean you are never starting from a blank page, and the weekly calls keep you moving.
What exactly do I get on day one?
Within 24 hours of joining, your portal is live with every framework, template and script, a 120 day roadmap personalised to you, over 10 hours of recorded content, WhatsApp access to me and the team, and an onboarding call to lock your plan.
Do I need a big audience already?
You need a skill people value and a small audience to speak to. Most founders come in with a few thousand followers and momentum, not a million. We build the system that turns that attention into income.
Do you just hand me videos, or actually help?
This is hands on. Weekly group coaching, one to one calls at the key moments, and WhatsApp support with a 24 hour response for the full 120 days. The content is there to support the work, not replace the guidance.
Is my first sale guaranteed?
No, and anyone promising that is lying to you. What I guarantee is the system, the frameworks, and my time. What you get out of it depends on you doing the work. The founders who apply everything tend to see their first sale inside the first 45 days.
How does pricing work?
We cover that on the call. Watch the training, book a slot, and we will walk through the investment, the options, and whether SCALO is the right fit for where you are right now. No pressure either way.
